Announcement about the future of Berghaus Trail Chase

10th Nov 2016

We have been thinking long and hard, and it's time to update you about the future of Berghaus Trail Chase™. Today we can confirm that we (Ourea Events - the organisers), are officially retiring Berghaus Trail Chase™ and it is not scheduled to be back in 2017.
Instead we will be concentrating our efforts during 2017 on some exciting new events, and our established ones, and we very much hope that there is something there that will appeal to you.

Fancy a trip to the Lake DistrictWales, or Scotland? Or all three...

If you like focusing on your running...

...and following a way-marked (flagged) route, we now organise the lung-busting Salomon Mamores VK™ (Vertical Kilometer® format race) and incredible Salomon Ring of Steall Skyrace™, which will take place on 15th and 16th September 2017 respectively as part of the Skyline Scotland™ weekend of events.

If you're a bit of a peak bagger...

We're delighted to announce that we will be organising the legendary self-navigated 10Peaks™ ultra running events in 2017 as follows:

  • Lake District 10Peaks™: Saturday 24th June 2017
  • Brecon Beacons 10Peaks™: Saturday 9th September 2017

If you're keen on a spectacular Lakeland journey...

Our Great Lakeland 3Day™ event is an adventurous 3-day mountain journey with a unique, relaxed and friendly atmosphere that attracts both runners and long-distance walkers.

Expect mostly mountain trails and footpaths, along ridges and through valleys, rather than contouring and bogs. Think map and compass (GPS allowed). Oh, and we transport your overnight equipment between each camp!

We hope to see you on the start line at one of our 2017 events. Meanwhile, we wish you all the very best in your ongoing off-road adventures.
